Welcome to SeaCraft - Seaside Gifts from Driftwood
The relationship between wood and water, forest and sea, water nourishing wood and wood releasing the power of water, indicates the ever-present moment, which was once the past is now the present, so, all my products have been created from gathered driftwood and objects from beaches and harbours in South West Cornwall.

Driftwood by it's very nature has spent some time and in many cases years at sea before being tumbled at the shoreline and returned to land. I like to re-cycle as much debris from the shoreline as possible, whether it be wooden packing crates, ropes, driftwood, shells or seaweed. Working as a freelance illustrator, designer and calligrapher for several decades, I am now inspired by the rugged coastline of The Lizard Peninsula and surrounding Cornish coves and inlets. The Lizard peninsula is derived from an old Cornish phrase Lys Ardh, which means high court or high place. Lys means court, place or fortress and Ardh means high or height. Over time English speakers began abbreviating the term to Lizard.
These areas create lasting memories of holidays and days out at the beach through authentic crafted gifts, ideal for bringing a touch and feel of the beach and seaside. They can introduce coastal elements that will bring a fresh and calming look to your home. Browse the different categories for your perfect gift!
