St. Michael's Mount
A beautiful full colour illustration from The Cornish Collection of St. Michael's Mount, Marazion, Cornwall, as a landscape orientated A5 (210mm x 148mm) 300gsm greeting card, left blank inside for your own personal message. The design features a reproduction of an original waltercolour of beach stones on the inside, taken from nearby Church Cove, Gunwalloe and comes packaged in a clear poly bag and a plain white envelope. I painted this scene in watercolours but decided a vector illustration was better suited for reproduction on to high quality silk stock card.
St Michael's Mount Cornish: Karrek Loos yn Koos, meaning "hoar rock in woodland" is a tidal island in Mount's Bay near Penzance, Cornwall, England (United Kingdom). The island is a civil parish and is linked to the town of Marazion by a causeway of granite setts, passable (as is the beach) between mid-tide and low water. It is managed by the National Trust, and the castle and chapel have been the home of the St Aubyn family since around 1650.
