Spernic Cove
A landscape orientated A5 (210mm x 148mm) greetings card featuring a delightful full colour illustration of a rowing boat moored at Spernic cove, a tiny inlet near St.Keverne on the Lizard Peninula, South West Cornwall in the United Kingdom. The nearby area of Carrick Luz can be of interest for nesting sea birds from May and June but is a challenging trip across the rocks from the small cove situated at Landkidden round the cliif from Black Head Point. The area is best viewed from the cliffs above on the Cornish coastal path but can also be quite undulating and tricky in parts, especially when wet. Dolphins and seals can also be been seen from the cliff top. As far as I know tiny beach is only accesible by boat, kayak or swimming! The cove is close the a rock formation called 'The Manacles' which lie menacingly beneath the waves and many a ship has run aground here, the ocean liner Paris falling victim in 1899 on Wrea Rock. http://www.helstonhistory.co.uk/w-f-iveys-shipwrecks/paris/
The card is supplied in a clear poly bag inside a hard backed board with a plain white self adhesive strip across the top. The interior bottom side of the card has been left blanks for you to add your own message and the top section features a print from an original watercolour of beach stones from Church Cove, Gunwalloe, further round the coast.
