High tide vibe

Small pieces of hand crafted Cornish driftwood, from locally sourced beaches and harbours in South West Cornwall with the inscription 'High tide vibe'. The lettering has been pyrographed freehand directly on to the wood at high temperature. All the driftwood has been bleached in a large bleaching tank for two days and is then rinsed and left to dry naturally on decorators sheets before applying linseed oil or varnish to seal the fibres of the wood. Whenever I find a piece of small, unique and quirky rounded dritfwood, it normally ends up as a keyring or fridge magnet. I prefer to keep the driftwood pieces as natural as possible, so I only sand down any areas that have rough edges before drilling a small 6mm hole to fit the keychain device and spit ring loops. Any of the larger pieces along with certain types of seaweed end up as a driftwood tree.
