All at sea pendants

Pendant shaped hand crafted Cornish driftwood signs with the caption "I'm all at sea without you". Some of the pieces have been painted with a translucent wash of exterior blue emulsion and others have a been treated with exterior varnish. The signs comes complete with a 10mm nautical rope surround, finished at both ends with whipping and brass eyelet hangers with a macramé rope tied at both ends with fisherman's knots and and some feature a minature safety lifebuoy ring. Some of the larger versions have craft rope attached to the top.

The slogans were either drawn freehand with waterproof ink markers, or pyrographed at high temperature and the driftwood pieces featured were found on the beach at Rinsey Head in South West Cornwall. The wood itself has been bleached in a large bleaching tank for two days. It is then rinsed and left to dry naturally before being slightly sanded to avoid injury from splinters or rough edges. Two coats of exterior varnish are then applied should the signs be hung or displayed outdoors if required. The ideal unique gifts for your loved one!
